Admin-only beta
A little Paper Pet made for e-ink.
Adopt a virtual companion, check four simple needs, and care for it with large controls that work through normal Kindle page loads.
A pet you can understand at a glance
- The app tile shows the pet portrait and a short status such as “Needs food” or “Doing well.”
- Fullness, happiness, cleanliness, and energy use labeled meters, so color is never the only cue.
- Feed, Play, Wash, and Rest use ordinary forms; the core game does not require JavaScript.
- Care state belongs to the signed-in account and gradually changes between visits.
Colorful on Colorsoft, clear everywhere
Color mode adds teal, purple, orange, yellow, and pink details to the pet portrait and distinct accents to its needs. Traditional Kindle displays retain strong black outlines, readable text, and monochrome meters.
Paper Pet avoids animation, automatic refreshes, and background polling so it stays gentle on e-ink screens.
Beta availability
Paper Pet is currently an administrator-only beta. Administrators can enable its hidden launcher tile from Grid Apps; other signed-in users cannot discover or open the game yet.
The beta is free for authorized administrators and does not require a connected Google, Microsoft, or Apple account. General availability has not been announced.
