Fix connected-account problems
Work through expired approvals, wrong-account choices, missing app access, and setup sessions that do not finish.
If setup is still waiting
- Finish provider approval on your phone, return to Kindle, and choose Check status.
- Confirm the phone used the same short code or manual link shown on Kindle.
- If the session expired, return to Cloud accounts and start again.
If the wrong data appears
- Open Settings, then Cloud accounts, and find Currently selected.
- Choose the account you want, select it, and reopen the app.
- If access is missing, that account may not support the app or may lack the needed permission.
If access stopped working
- Open account details and choose Refresh if available.
- Choose Reconnect when authorization is needed, then approve access again.
- For Google pilot access, use the exact email address approved for the test group.
When to contact support
Tell support which provider and app you used, what the page said, and the approximate time. Never include passwords, verification codes, app-specific passwords, recovery codes, or provider tokens.
