Connected accounts
Connect Microsoft or a Google pilot account
Microsoft accounts are supported now. Google support is in progress and works only for approved pilot accounts.
Google requires pilot approval
A Google account will not work with Paperyx unless its exact email address has been admitted to the pilot. Submit the pilot request form with your justification; Paperyx will review the request and email you if you are admitted.
What you need
- A phone, tablet, or computer where you can sign in to the account.
- Access to the Microsoft account, or the approved Google pilot account, you want Paperyx to use.
- Time to read the requested permissions before approving them.
Connect the account
- On Kindle, open Settings, then Cloud accounts. Choose Add account and select Microsoft, or Google after pilot approval.
- Read the setup instructions and any Google connection notice.
- Scan the QR code with your phone. If scanning is unavailable, open the manual URL shown on Kindle.
- Sign in to the provider, confirm the account, review the requested access, and approve it.
- Return to Kindle and choose Check status if Paperyx still says it is waiting.
After connection
- Paperyx shows the account and the apps it can use.
- Select the current account from Cloud accounts.
- If the QR code or short code expires, start the connection again.
