Connect an Apple iCloud account

Use an Apple app-specific password to connect iCloud Mail, Calendar, and Reminders.

What you need

  • An Apple Account with two-factor authentication turned on.
  • Your full iCloud Mail address, such as name@icloud.com.
  • A device where you can sign in to account.apple.com.

Create the app-specific password

  1. Open account.apple.com and sign in.
  2. Open Sign-In and Security, choose App-Specific Passwords, and generate one named Paperyx Kindle Mail.
  3. Copy it. Apple shows it once. See Apple's app-specific password guide if needed.

Finish in Paperyx

  1. On Kindle, open Settings, Cloud accounts, and Add account. Select Apple iCloud.
  2. Enter your full iCloud Mail address and paste the app-specific password.
  3. Choose Connect account. Paperyx fills in Apple's mail and calendar settings.

Do not use

Do not enter your main Apple Account password, device passcode, or six-digit verification code. If you revoke the app-specific password at Apple, reconnect with a newly generated one.
